Salmon Stew
Salmon Stew is an easy dinner. Made with 2 large cans evaporated milk, 2 large cans water, 1/4 stick margarine, salt and black pepper to taste and 1 large can double q salmon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Mix together in large saucepan first 4 ingredients.
Bring to just before boiling (never boil).
Debone salmon; remove black skin.
Chunk and add to hot milk mixture.
Stir continually as milk will scorch.
Remove from heat; cover with lid.
Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
Serve with saltine crackers.
A family favorite especially on a cold night.
