Salmon Stew is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. onion, chopped fine, 1 tbsp. oleo or butter, 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans boneless, skinless salmon*, 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed old fashion vegetable soup and 1 c. cooked rice or chopped cooked potato, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook onion in oleo until tender, not browned.
Add salmon. Cook 1 minute.
Add rest of ingredients.
Simmer for 20 minutes uncovered.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
