Salmon in Crust
Salmon In Crust is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 sheet puffed pastry dough (may be found in freezer section), 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can salmon, drained, boned and flaked, 3/4 c. crushed saltine crackers, 1/2 c. plus 2 tbsp. sour cream and 1 onion, grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Roll pastry dough into a 9 x 12-inch rectangle and place on a greased cookie sheet.
Mix together all ingredients except yolk, water and sesame seed.
Place salmon mixture down the center of the dough rectangle.
Fold the sides toward the center and pinch them together, forming a seam.
Mix together the egg yolk and water; brush the top of the rectangle.
Sprinkle sesame seed on top.
Bake at 375Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
Serves 4.
