Salisbury Steak
Salisbury Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 2 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs, 1 egg, slightly beaten and 1/4 c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix 1/2 cup soup and all ingredients, except water and mushrooms.
Mix thoroughly.
Shape into 6 patties.
Place in a shallow baking dish (9 x 13-inch).
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes. Spoon off fat.
Mix remaining soup, water and the mushrooms; pour over meat.
Bake 20 minutes more.
