Russian Teacakes
Russian Teacakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. softened butter, 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 1/4 c. plain flour and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly.
Measure flour by dip-level-pour method or by sifting with salt, then measure. Blend flour and salt with butter mixture.
Mix in nuts.
Chill at least 30 minutes.
Make into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350Β° on middle shelf of oven, 8 to 12 minutes (check bottoms for browning).
Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
Roll again (roll a third time to make whiter).
Yields about 4 dozen.
