Russian Teacakes
Russian Teacakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft butter, 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 1/4 c. gold medal flour and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly.
Measure flour by dip-level-pour method or by sifting.
Blend flour and salt; stir in.
Heat oven to 400Β°. Roll into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.
Roll over in sugar again.
Makes about 4 dozen 1-inch cookies.
