Rum Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. evaporated milk, 1 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. butter, 1 c. whole milk and 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

In double boiler, melt sugar and butter in milk.
Dissolve cornstarch in a little water and add to hot milk.
Stir until thick, remove from heat and add rum.
