Butter shortening; gradually
3 cups sugar, beating fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating addition.
Combine flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Mix just until blended.
Stir in rum and coconut flavorings. Pour batter into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
