Rum Balls
Rum Balls is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 24 minutes. Made with c. vanilla wafer crumbs (one 12 oz. pkg.), c. finely chopped walnuts, c. flaked coconut, (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk and c. rum, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In large bowl, combine crumbs, nuts and coconut.
Add milk and rum.
Mix well.
Chill 4 hours.
Dip palms in sugar.
Shape into balls.
Roll in sugar.
Re-chill mixture if it becomes too soft. Cover and store in refrigerator.
If desired, re-roll in sugar again before serving.
