Rover's Favorite Crumb Cake
Rover'S Favorite Crumb Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. blueberries, 2 1/3 c. flour, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 1/4 c. sugar and 1/2 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Pick over and wash the berries.
Drain in a sieve and turn them onto a towel.
Pat dry and set aside to dry.
Preheat oven to 375Β°. In a small bowl combine 1/3 cup of flour, the cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar.
Cut in 1/4 cup of the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Set aside.
Sift together the remaining flour, baking powder and salt.
Place blueberries in a bowl and sprinkle with 1 1/2 tablespoons of the dry ingredients.
Toss gently.
Set aside.
