Rolls
Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1/4 c. warm water, 1 c. milk, scalded, 1/4 c. sugar and 1/4 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine milk, shortening, sugar and salt.
Cool to lukewarm. Add 1-1/2 cups flour and beat well.
Beat in egg and yeast.
Add remaining flour and beat well.
Put in greased bowl and let rise 1-1/2 to 2 hours.
Turn on floured board.
Shape rolls and let rise until double in size.
Bake at 400Β° for 12-15 minutes.
Makes 2 dozen rolls.
