Robbie's Chocolate-Walnut Bread Pudding
Robbie'S Chocolate-Walnut Bread Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits, 3 c. milk, divided, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3 eggs, lightly beaten and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Melt bits in 1 cup of milk.
Stir in other two cups of milk; set aside.
Decrust (if desired) and cube bread and put in 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Combine salt, eggs, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon.
Combine milk and egg mixtures and pour over bread.
Put walnuts (broken or whole) on top.
Set casserole in a pan of hot water and bake at 350Β° for approximately 1 hour.
(Check to make sure walnuts don't darken too much.)
