Mix sugar into beaten egg whites.
Add sugar, baking powder, vanilla and nuts.
Put in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350Β° for 20 minutes; cool.
Prepare whipped topping.
Add cream cheese.
Beat until smooth.
Add crushed pineapple; pour into chilled crust and garnish with crumbs on top.
