Risen Doughnuts
Risen Doughnuts is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 envelope yeast, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 1/2 c. warm milk, 1 1/4 c. flour and 3/4 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Dissolve yeast; add 1 tablespoon sugar in warm milk.
Add 1 1/4 cups flour; beat thoroughly.
Let rise for 40 to 50 minutes. Add 3/4 cup sugar, butter, salt and about 4 cups of flour.
Let rise a second time (40 to 50 minutes).
Roll out dough and cut. Let rise, then fry in hot grease.
