Rice Pudding
Rice Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. cooked rice (heated with 1 tbsp. margarine), 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, 1 tbsp. vanilla and 1/2 c. raisins (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Spread rice in bottom of casserole dish.
Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar or more if you like it sweeter.
Sprinkle nutmeg over this and add 1 tablespoon vanilla.
Stir in 1/2 cup raisins.
Mix up 3 eggs with 2 cups whole milk or diluted canned milk.
Pour this mixture over rice and stir.
Set in pan of water to bake at 350° to 400° for about an hour.
