Rice Casserole
Rice Casserole is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 8 minutes. Made with c. rice, cooked, box frozen broccoli, thawed, large onion, chopped, celery, chopped and c. mushrooms, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Saute all the ingredients, except the rice.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Mix together with cooked rice and 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese and 1 can cream of mushroom soup.
Grease a large casserole dish with butter.
Put ingredients in dish; sprinkle additional Cheddar cheese on top.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
May be put under broiler for a few minutes afterward.
