Rice Amandine
Rice Amandine is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 1/4 c. chicken broth, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, 2 tbsp. toasted almonds and 1 c. frozen cut green beans, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Cook and stir onion in hot butter until tender. Add broth, lemon juice and garlic powder.
Bring to a boil. Stir in rice. Bring to a heavy boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Stir in green beans, almonds and dill.
Cover. Let stand for about 5 minutes, then serve.
