Ribbon Salad
Ribbon Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (1/4 oz. each) pkg. unflavored gelatin, 2 1/2 c. cold water, divided, 2 c. milk, 1/2 c. sugar and 2 c. sour cream (1 pt.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In small bowl, soften unflavored gelatin in 1/2 cup of the cold water; set aside.
In small saucepan, bring milk to a boil. Remove from heat.
Add sugar immediately and stir to dissolve. Add sour cream, vanilla and softened gelatin mixture to the hot milk and beat until smooth and creamy.
Set mixture aside but do not refrigerate.
