Ribbon Jello Salad
Ribbon Jello Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 small pkg. jell-o (1 each: red, green, yellow and orange), 2 envelopes knox gelatin, 1/2 c. cold water, 2 1/8 c. milk and 1 c. granulated sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Dissolve each package of Jell-O in 1 1/2 cups of water, instead of the usual 2 cups.
(Dissolve Jell-O as needed for layers.)
Dissolve the 2 envelopes of plain gelatin in cold water and set aside.
Put the milk and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Add the softened gelatin.
Put sour cream in a bowl and slowly add the milk mixture.
Add vanilla.
