Rhubarb Crunch

Mix flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon together. Press half of crumbs in greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
Cover with rhubarb or apples. Combine sugar, cornstarch, water and vanilla. Cook until thick.
Pour over rhubarb and top with remaining crumbs. Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
