Rhubarb Crunch

Mix flour, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup oleo and beaten egg all together.
Mix rhubarb and 1 1/4 cups sugar together and put in a buttered 8 x 8-inch pan.
Mix water and soda together and sprinkle over rhubarb and sugar mixture.
Dot with oleo, add flour mixture on top and bake at 350Β° for 55 to 60 minutes.
