Refrigerator Pickles
Refrigerator Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large raw onion, 1 c. white sugar, raw cucumbers, sliced, 1/2 tsp. mustard seed and 1 c. brown vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix vinegar, sugar, salt and spices until everything is well dissolved.
Do not heat.
Slice the onion into a glass or plastic quart jar.
Fill the jar with sliced, unpeeled cucumbers.
Pour solution over cucumbers.
Put on lid, but it is not necessary to seal.
Keep in refrigerator.
