Refrigerator Cookies
Refrigerator Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla and 3 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Stir in flour, salt and nuts.
Divide dough into 3 equal parts.
Shape into a ball about 1 1/2-inches around and 7-inches long.
Chill about 4 hours.
Slice into 1/2-inch slices.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet, 8 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes about 7 dozen cookies.
You can use this for peanut butter cookies also.
