Cream oil and sugar; add eggs and beat.
In small bowl, combine coloring, cocoa and vinegar.
Add to egg mixture. Alternate flour and buttermilk, starting and ending with flour. Add vanilla.
Bake in greased and floured 8-inch pans in a 350Β° oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
