Mix food coloring, vinegar and cocoa together; set aside. Cream Wesson oil, sugar and eggs together.
Add color mixture. Add soda and salt to flour.
Add flour mixture and buttermilk, alternating.
Add vanilla.
Bake in 4 layer cake pans at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
Do not overbake.
