Red Velvet Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 yellow cake mix (ann page), 2 tbsp. cocoa, 1 tbsp. sugar, 2 tbsp. cooking oil and 1 large bottle red cake coloring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine the cake mix, cocoa, sugar, oil and cake coloring. Add the eggs and buttermilk.
Mix as any other cake mix in 3 thin layers.
Cook the flour and milk to a thick pudding.
Place in box to cool.
Cream the oleo, Crisco, 1 cup sugar and vanilla. Beat in the pudding mixture and spread on cake. Sprinkle with coconut.
