Red Rice
Red Rice is an easy dinner. Made with 1/4 onion, chopped, 2 tsp. margarine, 2 c. rice (uncooked), 1 (16 oz.) chopped tomatoes and 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cook onion in margarine in a pot over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Stir often.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cook over low heat 10 minutes; stir often.
Pour rice into a casserole.
Cover and bake in a preheated 350Β° oven for 1 hour.
Stir every 20 minutes.
Serves 6.
