Pour soup into a medium, microwave-safe bowl.
Add milk.
Stir. Microwave on High for 2 minutes; stir.
Add hot dogs.
Microwave on High for 2 minutes; stir well.
Pour into bowls.
Make strips of American cheese to place on top.
