Red and White Layered Salad
Red And White Layered Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 envelopes plain gelatin, 1/2 c. cold water, 1/2 c. hot water, 1 c. hellmann's mayonnaise and 3 c. cooked, chopped chicken, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Dissolve plain gelatin in cold water.
Add to boiling water. Add rest of ingredients, down to whipped topping.
Fold in whipped topping.
Spread in shallow pan.
Allow to set at least 4 hours. Heat V-8 juice to just under boiling.
Add lemon Jell-O and dash of allspice.
Cool; pour over jellied salad and allow to set.
Serves 18.
