Real Lemon Pie
Real Lemon Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/4 c. cornstarch, 1 1/2 c. cold water, 3 egg yolks, beaten and 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
Add cold water.
Cook in microwave, stirring often.
When it is a medium consistency, add egg yolks, lemon juice and rind.
Return to microwave and cook until thick.
If too thick, use hand blender to smooth out.
Add margarine.
Pour into pie crust.
Beat egg whites and 1/3 cup sugar.
Spread meringue to hot pie, sealing to sides.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 to 20 minutes, until brown.
