Raisin Pie
Raisin Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. raisins, 2 c. water, 1/2 c. packed brown sugar, 2 tbsp. cornstarch and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Combine raisins and water and boil 5 minutes.
Blend sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt.
Add to raisins and cook, stirring until clear.
Remove from heat and stir in vinegar and margarine. Cool slightly and turn into pastry lined pan.
Cover with top pastry or lattice strips.
Bake at 425Β° for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
