Raisin Pie
Raisin Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 c. water and 1/2 c. dark corn syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Stir in water, corn syrup and raisins.
Cook and stir until bubbly; cook and stir 2 minutes more.
Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice and margarine.
Filling will be thin.
Pour into pastry-lined pie plate.
Cover with top crust.
Seal and flute edges.
Cut slits in top.
Bake at 425° for 10 minutes; reduce temperature to 375° and bake 30 minutes more.
