Raisin-Filled Cookies
Raisin-Filled Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. light brown sugar, 1/2 c. shortening, 2 eggs, 1 c. sweet milk and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cream sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and beat well.
Sift flour, baking powder and soda together.
Add flour mixture alternately with milk and vanilla.
Drop 1 teaspoon dough on cookie sheet.
Dip bottom of teaspoon in flour; use this to make a hole in top of cookie.
Place 1 teaspoon filling in hole.
Bake in hot oven about 400Β°.
This cookie can be frosted, if desired. Quick and easy!
