Raisin Cookies
Raisin Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. water, 2 c. raisins, 1 c. shortening, 1 3/4 c. sugar and 2 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Combine raisins and water in saucepan and bring to a boil for 3 minutes.
Let cool (do not drain), cream sugar and shortening together.
Add eggs and vanilla; combine dry ingredients.
Add to creamed mixture and blend thoroughly.
Stir in nuts and raisins. Drop by teaspoonful 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350Β° for 12 to 14 minutes.
