Raisin Caramels

Place raisins in buttered 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Combine 3/4 cup butter or margarine and 1 cup brown sugar in saucepan; cook and stir to hard ball stage (254Β°).
Pour over raisins.
Top with 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces, spreading as they melt.
Chill until firm; cut in pieces.
