Raisin Cake
Raisin Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. raisins, 3 c. water, 3 c. sugar, 1/2 c. oleo or butter and 1 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

In a saucepan, boil raisins, water, sugar, butter, salt, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and cool. Stir in baking soda, baking powder, flour and lemon flavoring. Mix well.
Place mixture in a greased Bundt pan and bake for 1 hour at 325° or 2 large loaf pans for 1 1/4 hours at 325°.
This is a great cake.
