Raisin Bread
Raisin Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. flour, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 c. raisins, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease 2-quart round casserole.
In a bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda.
Stir in raisins with a fork.
Blend in buttermilk and melted margarine until evenly moist.
Put into greased casserole.
Cut an "X" lightly on top.
Bake 1 hour or until toothpick put in comes out dry.
Remove from bowl and cool on wire rack.
Makes 16 servings.
