Raisin Bars
Raisin Bars is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 c. raisins, 1/2 c. water, 1 c. oleo, 1 c. sugar and 1 3/4 c. oatmeal, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Boil raisins and water together until water is absorbed. Cream the oleo and sugar together.
Add oatmeal, flour, soda and vanilla.
Pat 1/2 of mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix the egg yolks, 1 3/4 cups sugar, cornstarch, salt and vinegar.
Cook until thick; add raisins and cool and spread over crust.
Put remaining crumbs over filling.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
