Raised Drop Donuts
Raised Drop Donuts is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. warm water, 2 pkg. yeast, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/3 c. shortening and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Soak warm water and yeast until dissolved.
Combine sugar, shortening, eggs, salt, nutmeg, 2 cups sifted flour and warm milk. Beat for 2 minutes. Add yeast mixture and beat.
Add 2 cups more of sifted flour and beat 2 more minutes.
Cover and place in a warm spot for 45 minutes. Drop in hot oil. Take 1/2 teaspoon dough and push off spoon with another spoon.
Roll in sugar or glaze.
