Ragu
Ragu is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. finely chopped onion, 1 carrot, finely chopped, 2 stalks celery, finely chopped, 1 lb. mild pork sausage and 2 to 3 lb. hamburger, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Saute onion, carrot and celery in olive oil for 15 to 20 minutes.
Add meat, cook and crumble.
Add white wine to mixture and continue to cook (with lid on loosely) for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Add tomato sauce, salt to taste and basil.
Lightly cover and cook for several hours more.
Serve with pasta.
