Quick Rolls
Quick Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. warm water, 1 pkg. yeast, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 2 1/4 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in water.
Add sugar, salt and about 1/2 the flour.
Beat thoroughly 2 minutes.
Add egg and shortening.
Beat in remaining flour gradually until smooth.
Let rise 30 minutes in a warm place.
Stir down batter and drop into greased medium muffin pans.
Let rise 10 minutes.
Bake 10 minutes in 425Β° oven.
Makes 1 dozen rolls.
