Quick Rolls
Quick Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. dry yeast, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 c. buttermilk, 1/4 c. warm water and 1/4 c. vegetable oil or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Combine sugar, vegetable oil and buttermilk; stir enough flour to make a soft dough.
Place dough on lightly floured surface.
Knead 1 to 2 minutes or until smooth and elastic.
Roll to 1/2-inch thickness.
Cut with floured 2 1/2-inch biscuit cutter.
Place a bat of butter in center and fold roll in half.
Place rolls on heavily greased baking sheet; cover and let rise until double in size.
Bake at 400Β° for 10 minutes.
Makes about 2 dozen.
