Quick Caramel Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 1 stick butter, 1 c. packed brown sugar, 4 tbsp. milk, 2 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Melt the butter in saucepan. Stir in the brown sugar. Cook 2 minutes on low heat, stirring constantly. Add the milk, stirring until mixture comes to a boil.
Remove from stove.
Stir in the confectioners sugar gradually. Add the vanilla and mix well. Spread immediately on cake.
Frost 1 pound cake or 2 layers.
