Quick Caramel is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, 1 c. corn syrup, 1 x 15 oz. can condensed milk, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/8 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Melt the butter, stir in the sugar and salt.
Add syrup and mix well.
Add the milk, stirring constantly, cook until it reaches 245Β° on a sugar thermometer.
Immediately remove from the heat. Add vanilla and pour into a well buttered 9-inch square pan.
Cut when cool.
