Quick Bread(Diet) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or oleo, 12 pkg. equal, 1 egg, slightly beaten or 1/4 c. egg substitute, 2 c. flour and 3 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Melt and cool butter or oleo.
Add Equal.
Add egg.
Mix well. Mix and sift dry ingredients.
Add to butter mixture alternately with milk.
Stir in pecans.
Pour into greased loaf pan (9 1/2 x 5 1/4 x 2 3/4-inch).
Bake in a 350Β° oven about 1 hour.
Let stand one day, wrapped in waxed paper or foil, for easier slicing. Makes 20 slices, 106 calories each.
