Quick Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 3 c. self-rising flour, 2/3 c. powdered milk or enough milk for workable dough (water if using powdered milk), 1/3 c. shortening) and water (enough to make stiff dough), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

I use butter Crisco for shortening.
Mix ingredients.
Pour out on floured board or hard surface.
Knead lightly.
Choke off biscuit size.
Put in greased pan.
Butter the top of biscuits. Bake in oven at 400Β° until golden brown.
