Punch Bowl Cake
Punch Bowl Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box yellow cake mix, 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained, 1 large box vanilla instant pudding and pie filling, 1 can cherry pie filling and 1 c. pecans, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Bake cake according to directions.
Crumble 1/2; drop into punch bowl.
Mix vanilla pudding as instructed.
Let set up. Then put 1/2 over the cake pieces.
Put 1/2 cherry pie filling over pudding, then 1/2 pineapple over cherry pie filling.
Then slice 1/2 bananas over the pineapple and add 1/2 Cool Whip.
Start all over, repeating each step, finishing with Cool Whip and adding nuts on top.
Let set overnight to make moist.
