Punch Bowl Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 butter flavored cake mix, 1 large pkg. vanilla instant pudding, 3 c. milk, 1 large can pie filling (cherry or strawberry) and 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Prepare cake mix according to package directions, baking as for 2 layers.
Combine pudding with cold milk.
Tear 1 layer of baked cake into bite-size pieces and place on bottom of pan or dish.

Layer on crushed pineapple and the pie filling.
Top with whipped topping.
