Punch Bowl Cake
Punch Bowl Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 angel food cake, cut into 2 layers, 1 can cherry or strawberry pie filling, 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice, 2 c. flaked coconut and 2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding (prepared according to directions), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Place 1 layer of cake in bottom of punch bowl.
Spread in layers over cake
1/2 pie filling, 1/2 pineapple, 1 cup coconut, 1 box prepared pudding, 2 1/2 cups whipped topping and 1/2 cup nuts.
Add second layer of cake and layer other ingredients as before.
Garnish with cherries.
