Punch Bowl Cake
Punch Bowl Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box yellow cake mix, 1 large box vanilla instant pudding, mixed, 1 large can crushed pineapple, 2 cans cherry pie filling and 1 large (16 oz.) cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bake cake according to directions in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Break 1/2 of cake into bite-size pieces and put in punch bowl. Mix pudding according to directions.
Spread 1/2 of pudding over cake pieces.
Spoon 1/2 of pineapple with juice on top of pudding.
Spread 1 can of pie filling on top of that.
Spread 1/2 of Cool Whip over pie filling.
Add 1/2 of nuts.
Repeat, using the rest of the ingredients.
Chill overnight.
